1. IT Operations (Supporting Role)
- Support daily IT operations, including end-user support, applications, and work devices.
- Assist in managing IT assets (laptops, peripherals, and supporting devices) in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist in managing user accounts, licenses, and application access based on supervisor instructions.
- Support the handling of incidents, service requests, and IT-related issues, and report their resolution status.
- Assist in backup, restore, and data recovery testing processes as instructed.
2. Information Security (Supporting Role)
- Support the implementation of information security controls in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in implementing user access controls, including IAM, MFA, and role-based access control, based on approvals and supervisor direction.
- Assist in monitoring system security and reporting potential security incidents.
- Perform information security tasks in accordance with established SOPs.
3. Network & Infrastructure Support
- Assist in the operation and troubleshooting of the company’s internal network.
- Support the management of network devices in coordination with vendors or related parties as directed by supervisors.
- Report network issues and support the resolution of connectivity problems.
4. CCTV & Access Control Support
- Support the operation of CCTV and access control systems within the office environment.
- Assist in ensuring that CCTV devices and access control systems function properly.
- Assist in managing access to CCTV systems in accordance with company policies and management direction.
5. Governance, Risk & Compliance (Supporting Role)
- Support the implementation of IT governance and information security in accordance with internal policies.
- Assist in preparing data, documentation, and technical evidence for IT and information security audits.
- Support information security awareness initiatives for employees as directed by management.
6. Policies & Procedures (Supporting Drafting Role)
- Support the preparation of initial drafts of policies and procedures related to IT operations and information security.
- Gather technical references and operational best practices as input for drafting policies and procedures.
- Submit draft policies and procedures to supervisors or relevant functions for review, refinement, and formal approval.
7. Documentation & Record Keeping (Supporting Role)
- Support the recording and documentation of events and incidents related to IT operations.
- Assist in documenting information security incidents based on available information and direction.
- Assist in recording disturbances, anomalies, or unusual activities in networks and IT infrastructure.
- Assist in documenting events related to CCTV and access control systems.
- Assist in recording incidents related to governance, risk, and compliance aspects within IT.
- Support relevant functions in providing required data and/or information related to IT operations, information security, network and infrastructure, CCTV systems, access control, and GRC aspects.
- Assist in preparing chronological and factual logs of events as reporting material for supervisors and related functions.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improvement in IT operations and report them to supervisors.
- Keep up to date with technological developments and IT best practices relevant to the role.
