Two Decades of Veda Praxis: Advancing Together with Clients, Partners, and the Entire Ecosystem
Veda Praxis | Dec 24, 2025 | Social
Twenty years is no short journey. Over two decades, technology has advanced rapidly, industries have evolved, and the way we work has transformed profoundly. Yet amid all these changes, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to being part of Indonesia’s progress.
This year marks a meaningful milestone as Veda Praxis enters its twentieth year. Two decades have passed since we began with a simple yet ambitious idea to build a local consulting firm that is born, grows, and contributes from Indonesia, by Indonesian talent, for Indonesia.
This story is not written as a celebration of ourselves, but as an expression of gratitude and appreciation to every individual, institution, partner, and client who has walked alongside us. Ultimately, this journey is not only about Veda Praxis; it is about all of us who have given meaning to this shared path.
A Belief That Started It All: Local Consultants Can Drive Meaningful Change
When Veda Praxis was founded, the consulting landscape in Indonesia was largely dominated by global firms. Local consultants were often perceived as secondary options alternatives when international players were unavailable or unsuitable.
It was within this context that Veda Praxis began its journey. Despite many limitations, we moved forward with a strong belief that Indonesian talent is capable of addressing complex challenges, designing long-term strategies, and serving as trusted intellectual partners for major organizations. In fact, local insight has proven to be a significant strength in delivering solutions that are deeply relevant to the Indonesian context.
We set out to create a home where Indonesian consultants could grow, develop, and make tangible contributions. The journey was not always easy. There were times when we were considered unready, inexperienced, or too small to take part in large-scale transformations. Yet persistence, quality, and integrity consistently found their way forward.
Today, two decades later, we can confidently say that Indonesian local consultants are not only capable they have become key drivers of change in this country.
Growing Through Collaboration: Clients, Partners, and Alumni
One important truth throughout our 20-year journey is that Veda Praxis has never walked alone. Our clients are not merely organizations we serve; they are partners in a shared journey of progress. Many of the institutions we have supported have grown stronger, transformed, and become more resilient amid change.
Being a small part of their journey is both a privilege and a responsibility. Each engagement is more than a project it is an honor rooted in trust. Every client success reminds us that our role goes beyond recommendations; it is about enabling real, sustainable change.
Our journey has also been enriched by partners who consistently opened doors to collaboration. Over the past two decades, we have worked alongside regulators, universities, research platforms, and international institutions forming an ecosystem that fosters shared learning, methodological rigor, and innovation.
We have learned that open knowledge and shared experience accelerate progress rather than diminish competitive advantage.
Equally important are the professionals who have spent part of their careers with us. They have helped shape the DNA of Veda Praxis anchored in quality, continuous learning, and impact. Many of our alumni now hold strategic roles in national and global organizations, carrying with them the enduring spirit that knowledge (Veda) and practice (Praxis) must always go hand in hand. They will forever remain part of the Veda Praxis family.
Maturity Through Challenges: Lessons from Two Decades
No long journey is free of obstacles. No growth occurs without failure. No maturity is achieved without process.
Over the past 20 years, we have navigated regulatory changes that reshaped industries, digitalization that transformed how organizations operate, increasingly complex risks, and growing demands for strong governance. Economic volatility and technological disruption have continuously tested our resilience.
Internally, we have learned to build a strong organizational culture while maintaining service quality amid growth. Each challenge brought valuable lessons every difficult project sharpened our insight, every setback strengthened our resolve, and every success propelled us forward.
Today, while we acknowledge that we are not perfect, we have become a more mature, experienced, and resilient organization better prepared to contribute meaningfully in the future.
Beyond Consulting: Contributing to Society and Education
From the beginning, we have believed that knowledge finds its true purpose when it is shared. Our contribution therefore extends beyond client engagements.
We actively support communities through training and knowledge-sharing initiatives for professionals and nonprofit organizations. We collaborate with universities and research institutions through joint research, internship programs, real-world case studies, and academic discussions bridging theory and practice.
We believe education should not be confined to classrooms, and real-world practice must be grounded in strong knowledge foundations. This is our long-term investment in the nation, as meaningful change can only occur when future generations are equipped with competence, character, and a deep understanding of real-world challenges.
From Indonesia to Southeast Asia and Beyond
Veda Praxis began with a modest dream: to stand alongside global consulting firms as a credible local player. Two decades later, that dream has evolved into a broader vision to bring Indonesia’s contribution to the regional and global stage.
We have supported organizations across Southeast Asia and partnered with companies pursuing regional ambitions. Looking ahead, we aspire for Veda Praxis to represent Indonesian consulting excellence across Asia and, eventually, the world.
This aspiration is not born of arrogance, but of conviction that Indonesia is not merely a large market, but also a source of talent, ideas, and innovation with real value to offer globally. Indonesian professionals bring unique perspectives, resilience in navigating complexity, and a deeply rooted culture of collaboration.
Moving Forward: Humble, Relevant, and Impact-Driven
Twenty years is not an endpoint it marks the beginning of a new chapter. The challenges ahead are increasingly complex: accelerating digitalization, heightened governance demands, sophisticated cyber threats, and ongoing economic uncertainty.
To remain relevant, we must continue learning, expanding our capabilities, and nurturing the nation’s best talents. Yet one principle remains unchanged our commitment to contributing to Indonesia and society at large.
From the very beginning, this journey has never been solely about business. It has always been about creating broader value.
We move forward with the same mindset that guided our first steps: humility, gratitude, and confidence that the best chapters are still ahead.
Twenty years of Veda Praxis is not merely the story of a company it is the story of an ecosystem growing together. A story of trust, perseverance, and collaboration. A belief that meaningful change begins with small, consistent steps.
Our growth has been made possible by clients who entrusted us with their transformation journeys, partners who enriched our perspectives, alumni who carried our values to new horizons, and our current team who continuously raise the bar of excellence. We also extend our gratitude to academics, public institutions, professional communities, and society at large the ultimate beneficiaries of our work.
Without all of them, Veda Praxis would not be what it is today.
Looking ahead, we hope you our clients, partners, alumni, and readers will continue to be part of this journey.
From Indonesia, for Indonesia.
From Indonesia, to the world.
Thank you for being part of our first 20 years.
Let us move forward together into the next two decades with the same spirit and an even greater purpose.
